Dr. Nara Pravat is a board certified and fellowship-trained pain management physician, also board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R). He received his medical degree from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 2004. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Georgetown University Hospital/National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Pravat then completed his ACGME accredited pain management fellowship at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He is dual board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in both PM&R and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Pravat grew up in East Texas, in Commerce, and attended Austin College, where he majored in Biology and minored in Art. After completing his medical training, he returned to the Dallas area, where he has practiced ever since. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren, their son Oliver, and his family.
