Compassionately Improving Pain, Function, and Quality of Life

cropped-453a85762.jpgDr. Nara Pravat is a board certified and fellowship-trained pain management physician, also board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R). He received his medical degree from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, in 2004. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Georgetown University Hospital/National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Pravat then completed his ACGME accredited pain management fellowship at Washington Hospital Center. He is dual board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in both PM&R and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Pravat grew up in East Texas, in Commerce, Texas and went to Austin College for his undergraduate degree, minoring in Art and majoring in Biology. After his medical training, he returned home to the Dallas area, and has practiced here since. He is a Dallas area sports fan, with the Cowboys being his favorite team. When not working, he enjoys spending his time with his wife Lauren and their two dogs, his family, exercising, golfing, and listening to music.
